Program Host

A Program Host is a dynamic professional who delivers activities, programs, parties and competitions in a safe and enjoyable manner to attract the maximum participation level.

This role requires enthusiasm, fun-loving nature and commitment to sport and leisure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional children's programming at Blacktown Aquatic Centre, Blacktown Leisure Centre Stanhope and Charlie Lowles Leisure Centre Emerton.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver activities, programs, parties and competitions in a safe and enjoyable manner.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and ensure participant satisfaction.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Current Working with Children Check
Desirable:
  • Water Safety Awareness Module (wet side only)
  • Class C driver's licence
  • Knowledge of applicable legislation/regulations
  • Ability to work within a team environment
Remuneration and Benefits:
  • $29.7584 per hour plus 25% casual loading
  • Penalty rates apply for weekend shifts
  • Trainee rates apply for applicants under 19 years of age
  • Casual working hours
  • Employee benefits including leave entitlements, superannuation, Fitness Passport and gym membership discounts.

This role has been identified as child-related work, in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Regulation 2013. Therefore, your application must include a Working with Children Check number.
