Senior Electric Power Auditor

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Inspector to join our team. As an Electrical Inspector, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and integrity of consumer installations connected to our network.
Your Key Responsibilities- Comply with regulatory and technical requirements of our Inspection System Plan as agreed with EnergySafety.
- Safely and efficiently undertake compliance inspections on electric installations connected to or intended to be connected to our network.
- Prepare and issue Inspectors Orders for non-compliant electric installations.
- Investigate instances of non-compliance with electricity regulations and statutory requirements by electrical contractors and workers.
- Provide technical reports on electric shocks and fires in accordance with legislated requirements.
- Undertake complex progress inspections on major installations.
- Provide evidence in Court through testimony to support prosecution proceedings.
- Provide specialist technical advice to our network personnel.
- Current Electrical Workers License – essential.
- Designated as an Inspector (Electrical).
- Certificate IV in Government Investigations.
- Certificate of Energy Coordination Act 1994, Electricity Act 1945.
- Detailed working knowledge of electrical transmission and distribution networks and their associated systems.
- Detailed working knowledge of AS3000 and West Australian Electrical requirements.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience.
- Experience in electrical metering and/or installation practices, regulations, and procedures.
- Valid WA Driver's License Class 'C' or 'C-A'.
