Lead Antimicrobial Steward

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team at Lismore Base Hospital.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program and delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the AMS Program and associated clinical duties
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication management
• Provide education and training on antimicrobial stewardship principles
• Support the development of policies and procedures related to antimicrobial use

Requirements:

• Registration as a pharmacist with the relevant authority
• Postgraduate qualifications or experience in pharmacy practice or a related field
• Demonstrated expertise in antimicrobial stewardship and clinical governance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
