Seeking an experienced pharmacist to lead antimicrobial stewardship initiatives.

About the Role
  • Liaise with healthcare teams to promote effective antimicrobial use and develop strategies for infection prevention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain an antimicrobial stewardship program aligned with industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Analyze data and identify trends to inform antimicrobial use and policy development.
  • Conduct audits and provide education on antimicrobial use to ensure adherence to established guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent qualification.
  • Current registration as a pharmacist with relevant professional bodies.
  • At least 5 years' experience in pharmacy practice, preferably in antimicrobial stewardship or a related field.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
