**Job Opportunity:**

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate support assistant to care for a young man with cerebral palsy in Glen Waverley.

**Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing personal care assistance, including showering, dressing, lifting, and feeding
  • Supporting daily living needs, such as meal preparation and household tasks
  • Accompanying the client to social events, festivals, and community activities

**Essential Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to drive clients to appointments and outings
  • Intermediate cooking and food-handling skills
  • Current Police Clearance and NDIS Worker Check
  • Fluent English language skills and Australian residency

**Work Arrangements and Benefits:**

  • Part-time or casual position available with flexible hours (8-10 hours/week)
  • Long-term commitment (minimum 12 months) required

**Competitive Hourly Rate:** $46.65-$84.47 per hour
