Job Overview

  • Precisely manage bi-weekly payroll for a varied workforce, encompassing both casual and permanent staff.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable awards (Retail, Storage, and Warehousing) and an Enterprise Agreement.
  • Leverage Zambian/Ready Tech to efficiently oversee payroll operations.
  • Stay informed on payroll legislation and regulations to guarantee complete compliance.
  • Work in conjunction with HR and management to resolve payroll-related queries and concerns.
  • Compile and submit payroll reports while maintaining accurate payroll documentation.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Demonstrated experience in payroll administration, ideally within the retail industry.
  • In-depth understanding of payroll systems, particularly advantageous if familiar with Zambian/Ready Tech.
  • Knowledge of Retail, Storage, and Warehousing Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
