About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Person to join our team at RetireAustralia, a leading private owner, operator, and developer of retirement villages. As a Maintenance Person, you will play a vital role in ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our villages, ensuring that our residents live in a safe and comfortable environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain buildings, plant, equipment, gardens, and grounds to a high standard
  • Attend to all reactive and preventative maintenance across the villages
  • Coordinate trades and services to ensure repairs occur in a timely manner
  • Monitor pest control and ensure compliance with Workplace, Health and Safety standards
Requirements
  • General all-round handyman/maintenance experience (carpentry, small plumbing, paint touch-ups, and roofing)
  • Great communication skills and ability to work effectively with residents and colleagues
  • Trade Certificate or equivalent experience (desirable)
  • Experience in working within the retirement industry an advantage
  • Full Open Driver's Licence
  • National Police Check (or ability to obtain)
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate (or ability to obtain)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment including Drug and Alcohol Testing
