About The Opportunity

Programmed's Property Services department is currently seeking skilled individuals to fill Grounds Maintenance Operator positions within our open space team. This role presents a chance to work with an excellent team providing grounds maintenance and development across our client sites. As a Grounds Maintenance Operator, you will be responsible for the overall upkeep and improvement of the grounds and gardens.

Nature of Position: Casual

Location: Western Sydney

Reporting Line: Project Manager

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the sites at a consistently high standard.
  • Perform routine mowing and turf maintenance.
  • Prune and shape across the grounds.
  • Operate a variety of mowers and other small plant equipment.
  • Conduct weed and pest control – spraying and manual weeding.
  • Ensure compliance of all occupational health and safety processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • Experience in gardening or landscaping, with a passion to provide quality work and a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others.
  • Qualification or experience in horticultural parks and gardens, gardening and landscaping.
  • Current driver's license and white card.
  • Current working with children's check.
  • Demonstrate a professional approach to the workplace.
  • Execute work that is of a high standard.
  • A strong commitment to and understanding of quality, environmental, occupational health, and safety management systems.
