About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist - Logistics to join our team at Kimberly-Clark. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for the strategic sourcing of logistics and 3PL services for our Australia and New Zealand operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute category management strategies for logistics and 3PL services, aligning with regional and global strategy plans.
  • Provide market insights and intelligence to drive incremental value opportunities and improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including regional logistics leaders, ANZ business, and supply chain leadership.
  • Lead or support strategy execution via RFP or supplier negotiation, ensuring compliance with procurement standards and methods.
  • Implement and deliver procurement targets for the assigned category, including cost savings, cost avoidance, working capital, and total cost of ownership.
  • Balance cost and quality factors in all supplier engagements, leveraging regional and global category expertise.
  • Establish solid KPIs to track supplier performance and lead supplier selection processes with best-in-class tools and frameworks.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as logistics, procurement, or supply chain management.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics procurement, preferably in the FMCG industry or 3PL environment.
  • Advanced negotiation and sourcing strategy development skills, with a strong understanding of financial metrics.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good understanding of procurement systems, including SAP or Coupa.
