About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Inclusive School Sports Program Driver to join our team at Spinal Life Corporate. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in promoting inclusive sports and making a difference in the lives of students with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport and unload wheelchairs and equipment for school visits, ensuring a safe and efficient experience for all participants.
  • Drive Game Changers in Sporting Wheelies vehicles as needed, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Report any issues or concerns during school visits to the Inclusive School Sports Program Coordinator, providing timely and accurate information.
  • Conduct regular checks on equipment to ensure it is safe and operational, maintaining a high level of quality and reliability.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all participants, promoting a culture of respect and understanding.
  • Promote Sporting Wheelies and Spinal Life Australia's Health and Fitness Centre services, highlighting the benefits of our programs and services.
Requirements
  • Current Open Driver's License required.
  • Eligible for Paid NDIS Workers Screening Check and Blue Card (Working with Children Check QLD).
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting and transporting equipment.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities, working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong initiative and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities an advantage.
  • Previous experience driving a large van preferred.
