Sports and Recreation Officer

Scenic Rim Regional Council is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join their team as a Sports and Recreation Officer.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering strategic and operational programs and initiatives, including the development of sport and recreation infrastructure and planning projects for Scenic Rim.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic plans for sport and recreation programs and initiatives.
- Manage multiple projects, including monitoring budgets and achieving project outcomes and objectives.
- Build and maintain partnerships with external stakeholders and customers.
- Provide high-level administrative support to the team.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- High-level skill and experience in partnership development and project management.
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Sport and Recreation Administration/Management, or significant experience in a similar role.
- Efficient data entry skills and digital literacy, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Relevant experience in sport and recreation facility management and planning.
