Job Title: Senior Consultant

About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Consultant to join our team in Canberra. As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of internal audit projects, working closely with clients to understand their needs, and developing tailored internal audit strategies that effectively address risk management and process controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of internal audit projects, ensuring all engagements are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of quality.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored internal audit strategies that effectively address risk management and process controls.
  • Apply project management skills to oversee the successful execution of audit plans, from initiation to completion.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Experience in project delivery, preferably within the internal audit or risk management space, or within the public sector.
  • A foundation in risk and control principles, a track record of managing audit or risk-related projects with diligence and precision, or a willingness to learn.
  • Australian citizenship and the ability to work in Canberra. The applicant must be willing to hold or upgrade to an NV1 clearance.
