Technical Integration Specialist

The role of Technical Integration Specialist is a pivotal position that plays a key part in the assembly and integration of secondary structure, avionics, and stage propulsion components and systems to the vehicle's primary structure.

This involves both mechanical and electrical integration skills, as well as pneumatic and avionics checkout activity. As a Technical Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Setting up, assembling, testing, and installing flight hardware
  • Using precision calibrated tools to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Performing hands-on operations with large and small fragile assemblies, as well as heavy rigging for large assemblies
  • Operating personnel platforms, such as boom lifts and scissor lifts
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and work instructions
  • Performing work according to procedures, specifications, and test instructions
  • Collaborating with production engineers to develop and document integration processes
  • Ensuring all production services are performed on time, safely, and professionally
  • Performing fluids and pneumatic testing to ensure system integrity
Qualifications and Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • 5+ years of experience in propulsion, mechanical, automotive, electrical, or avionics hardware installation
Benefits and Requirements
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs unassisted
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%
  • Ability to climb ladders and work in confined spaces
  • Willingness to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed
