Job Responsibilities- Manage an allocated caseload and complete therapeutic services in a timely manner.
- Assess participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical levels of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardized assessments.
- Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals tailored to each participant.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions that help participants improve their quality of life.
- Support and advise on environmental adaptations in home, school, work, and residential facilities.
- Recommending Assistive Technology to assist participants with functional limitations and promote independence.
- Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance.
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal).
- Strong time management and organizational skills for managing a varied caseload.
- Proactive, motivated by improvement and innovative ideas.
