Occupational Therapist - Community Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a flexible community-based role as an Occupational Therapist. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about working with people with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload that aligns with your areas of interest
  • Conduct clinical assessments across emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical functions
  • Develop individualised, evidence-based therapy goals and interventions
  • Provide environmental modification advice for homes, schools, workplaces and residential settings
  • Recommend and facilitate Assistive Technology (AT) to promote independence
  • Ensure compliance with current legislation and NDIS guidelines
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive, multidisciplinary team

Requirements:

  • Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • A proactive, client-centred mindset with a desire to innovate and grow
  • A genuine passion for working in the disability and community sector
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • An interest in paediatrics, complex needs, or a preferred caseload area
