Job Title: Branch Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a seasoned professional to assume the role of Branch Operations Supervisor. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with leadership skills and experience in managing multiple branches.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in branch operations, including team management, budgeting, and safety protocols. They will be responsible for overseeing daily branch activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and promoting a culture of excellence within the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To lead and motivate multi-branch staff, creating a positive and productive work environment.
  • Develop and implement forward-thinking strategies for growth and continuous improvement.
  • Foster a Safety-First approach, adapting and promoting practices that ensure the well-being of employees and customers.
  • Establish and manage operational budgets by branch, collaborating with state and branch managers to achieve set targets.
  • Maintain strict adherence to all relevant Australian State and Federal Laws, as well as applicable standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Implement and oversee HSEQ obligations, initiatives, and strategies across all Supagas branches, dealers, and agents.
  • Ensure fleet maintenance and management align with company policies and transport codes.
  • Optimize logistics and yard operations, streamlining processes to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Promote effective planning for growth within the branches, encouraging collaboration and knowledge-sharing among team members.
  • Lead and manage general branch operations, focusing on employee skills development and customer service excellence.
  • Verify that induction and safety training for new operational employees and other workplace participants adhere to standard Supagas guidelines.
  • Work closely with the HSEQ and Training teams to develop and improve Driver Training plans and documentation, reflecting best industry practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar leadership role.
  • Proven ability to mentor and lead teams across a multi-site network.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • LPG and Industrial Gas expertise.
  • HSEQ and Auditing experience.
  • Familiarity with NHVR Legislation.
  • The capacity to establish productive relationships at all levels, including liaison with various departments and specialties.
  • A drive to achieve results and persuade others.
  • A current police check and demerit point statement are required.
