Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Legal Leader in our Melbourne office. As a key member of our team, you will provide strategic management and support for common law claims, impairment benefit claims, and other litigated statutory matters.

The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of Victorian Workers Compensation legislation and regulations, as well as strong experience in claims management and litigation. They will be responsible for managing performance and development of team members, identifying trends and intimation triggers, and providing advice on strategic management and negotiation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent understanding of Victorian Workers compensation legislation and associated regulations.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Very strong experience in claims management including litigation.
  • Sound experience in legal and/or business with a successful track record in achieving business objectives.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Law (preferred but not mandatory).
