About the Role:

The Data Super Group (DSG) at Lendi Group is a growing team of data enthusiasts who collaborate to drive results through passion, grit, and teamwork. The Data Science team is a key part of the DSG, working on complex challenges that require advanced analytics, machine learning, and data science techniques. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing solutions to these challenges, explaining complex designs to non-technical stakeholders, and delivering data science solutions across various business problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop advanced analytics, machine learning, and data science solutions to drive business outcomes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and contexts
  • Explain complex solution designs to non-technical stakeholders
  • Drive the delivery of data science solutions across a wide range of business problems
  • Examples of projects include AI agent development, customer predictive modelling, product recommendation engines, and classification systems

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or related field
  • Knowledge of machine learning and advanced analytics techniques, including clustering, decision tree learning, and neural networks
  • Experience with the full lifecycle of developing, deploying, and maintaining machine learning models, data preparation, feature engineering, and MLOps
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and one or more machine learning frameworks
  • Interest in GenAI and LLMs, including prompt engineering, RAG, and LLMOps
  • Experience with data visualisation libraries and products, such as PowerBI, Tableau, and dash
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality reports, data, and model analysis
  • Proven ability to translate analytics output into actionable insights, recommendations, and commercial outcomes
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to understand where and when different models or analyses can create value

Salary Estimate:

We estimate the salary for this role to be around $140,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and location.
