Senior Family Violence Specialist

This is a challenging and rewarding role that involves providing specialist support to families and individuals affected by family violence. As a Senior Family Violence Practitioner, you will be working in a matrix management structure, providing intake and assessment on a short-term basis.
The successful applicant will have a minimum Bachelor level qualification in Social Work or equivalency, with at least two years of practice experience in the area of family violence. They will also have a comprehensive understanding of the integrated Family Violence Service System and the ability to provide clinical supervision.
Broadmeadows location, Wurundjeri Country. Full time, Permanent role. Salary packaging up to $15,900 pa plus 11.5% superannuation.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting staff
- Triaging referrals
- Family violence risk assessment and safety planning
- Engagement of victim survivors and their children
About You:
- A passion for collaborating and teamwork
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of clinical supervision
- An understanding of the Child, Youth and Families Act 2007 and Family Violence Protection Act 2008
