About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to join our team as the Teacher for STEM Education. As part of this role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality teaching and learning materials that support instructional leadership and school community partnerships.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the role of STEM in education and how it impacts the lives of students. You will work collaboratively with other team members to plan, design and write teaching and learning materials and resources for use in various educational environments.

Liaising with Central Office, team managers, directors and other stakeholders will also be an essential part of this role. You will need to demonstrate a high level of commitment to developing performance and knowledge of teaching, learning and school improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and delivering high-quality teaching and learning materials
  • Working collaboratively with other team members
  • Liaising with Central Office, team managers, directors and other stakeholders

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have current Queensland Teacher registration and an understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures, and culturally-responsive pedagogies would be highly desirable.
