Job Description

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide a secure presence while remaining alert and focused. As part of our enthusiastic and committed team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all customers and building strong relationships with internal stakeholders.

Your key duties will include:

  • Conducting guard patrols across premises and being responsible for security site unlock and lock-ups
  • Escorting staff and personnel on site
  • Monitoring CCTV footage and taking appropriate action in breach situations
  • Directing roving security officers to respond to alarms and take necessary action
  • Using communication methods (e.g. radio, phone, log books) to report incidents and issues
  • Maintaining logs and records of occurrences, completing necessary paperwork, and using computer terminals to input and retrieve data

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following:

  • Australian citizenship
  • Current South Australian Security License
  • Current South Australian Driver's License
  • Certificate II in Security Operations or higher
  • NV1 Clearance or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to work in high-pressure environments
  • Ability to work on a 24/7 rotating roster
  • Must be over 18 years old
