A challenging role is available with the Northern Territory Government, Department of Health, as a Nurse Management Coordinator – Chronic Conditions.

This position plays a critical part in providing sound professional advice on assessment, planning, review, evaluation, and coordination of service delivery in the defined practice area.

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team and contribute to the provision of high-quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on complex healthcare issues related to chronic conditions.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for service delivery improvement.
  • Coordinate and manage teams to achieve optimal healthcare outcomes.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, patients, and community members.

Requirements:

  • Current Registration with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia or eligibility for same.
  • Graduate Certificate beyond entry-to-practice relevant to speciality area.
  • Proven experience in driving a manual vehicle and obtaining a NT Drivers Licence.
  • Ability to travel to remote communities by 4WD or light aircraft on a regular basis.

The successful applicant will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

We offer a competitive remuneration package, ranging from $154,808 to $161,239 per annum, comprising salary, superannuation, leave loading, and the value of two weeks' extra recreation leave.
