Nurse Manager for Chronic Conditions and Public Health

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead our team in the management of chronic conditions and public health initiatives in Alice Springs.

Compensation Package: The remuneration package range is $154,808 - $161,239 per annum, comprising a salary, superannuation, leave loading, and the value of 2 weeks extra recreation leave.

About the Role: This position provides professional advice critical to dealing with complex issues related to assessment, planning, review, evaluation, and coordination of service delivery in defined practice areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide sound professional advice to ensure effective management of chronic conditions and public health initiatives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and outcomes.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of services.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia or eligibility for same.
  • Graduate Certificate beyond entry-to-practice relevant to specialty area.
  • Experience driving a manual vehicle and eligibility to obtain a NT Driver's Licence.
  • Willingness to travel to remote communities by 4WD or light aircraft on a regular basis.
