About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Commercial Banking team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our existing client base, as well as identifying new business opportunities.

As a Business Development Manager, you will have a deep understanding of banking products and services, and be highly skilled in credit and financial analysis. You will be comfortable working with financial documents and cash-flow drivers, and have a strong track record of building relationships through excellent service and driving new business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing clients, providing them with tailored solutions to meet their business needs.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them.
  • Work closely with our Commercial Banking team to provide a full suite of Business and Commercial Banking solutions to our clients.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our clients' businesses, including their financial performance and cash-flow drivers.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to our clients on market trends and economic conditions.

Requirements
  • Experience in building and leading a successful Business or Commercial Banking portfolio and lending above $3m.
  • Deep understanding of banking products and services.
  • Highly skilled in credit and comfortable in financial analysis, with a strong understanding of financial documents and cash-flow drivers.
  • Pride themselves in building relationships through excellent service and driving new business.
