Job Description

The role of the PLM Product Support Training Specialist is to play a pivotal part in Boeing's transition to 3DX by fulfilling vital instructor delivery tasks and collaborating with various stakeholders throughout the company.

Working within the PLM Product Support team, you will be expected to use your strong technical skills to support 3DX in a range of technical activities, such as performing testing and validation of 3DX changes/updates to ensure they meet functional requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Delivery of instructor lead 3DX Training sessions across multiple BDA sites
  • Performing train-the-trainer and mentoring tasks for BDA Programs
  • Analysing lesson framework needs and designing in person and online training solutions, including the creation of short how to videos.
  • Conduct 3DX courseware continuous improvement tasks, pilot new courses with new innovative processes
  • Working collaboratively with business partners to support both testing and development of new innovative processes and technologies
  • Assist with performing testing and validation of 3DX changes to ensure they meet functional and performance requirements.
  • Provide technical support to users on 3DX and processes.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in PLM and training delivery.
  • Support project management activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and resourcing
Requirements
  • Experienced using PLM Tools (3DX, eMatrix, Enovia, Teamcenter) or equivalent
  • Qualification or equivalent experience in systems engineering, aviation maintenance, software development or configuration management.
  • Qualification or experience in the delivery and/or development of technical training
  • A confident public speaker who exhibits strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • with the ability to collaborate and provide clear guidance on technical matters
