Job Title

Lead Site Installer

  • Establish and set up the Mackay site, including signage, permits, inductions.
  • Coordinate site inspections with crane and service subcontractors, including scope and quotes.
  • Manage and complete site prep works (set out, footings, services).
  • Supervise multiple site carpentry teams to deliver works on time.
  • Plan, program, and implement site installation and completion works (services, finishing trades, defects).
  • Act as key liaison with clients during installation and handover.
  • Ensure all safety documentation is maintained (permits, inductions, SWMS, forms).
  • Arrange procurement and take-offs for site materials.
  • Monitor budgets, subcontractor engagement, and efficient project delivery.
  • Seek innovative improvements to modular site processes.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate;

  • Experience in establishing construction sites and ensuring site safety is front of mind.
  • Ability to manage up to 10 projects at one time.
  • Proven ability to supervise multiple subcontractors and trades.
  • Strong client liaison and issue-resolution skills.
  • Flexibility and problem-solving mindset when encountering roadblocks.
  • Programming and planning capability for site works.
  • Relationship-building skills with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Track record of 3+ years in the construction industry (trade background desirable, modular experience advantageous).
  • Computer literacy for online inductions and reporting.
  • Capacity to deliver under tight timelines in a fast-paced modular environment.
  • Experience in modular is nice but not essential.
