Expert Trainer and Assessor in Civil Construction

This role involves delivering and assessing the Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in training and assessment, with experience in the civil construction industry.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and assess Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction courses
  • Develop effective teaching methods to engage students
  • Communicate effectively with students and liaise with industry employers
  • Encourage and impart knowledge, skills, and attitude required for students to achieve competency
  • Create course material in line with VET compliance requirements
  • Demonstrate currency in industry and vocational training

Qualifications:

  • Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction
  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years' experience in training and assessing (VET experience) and industry experience
