Project Architect Job Opportunity

As a seasoned Project Architect, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating design teams to deliver architectural projects from concept to construction documentation stages. You will ensure that the production of design documents aligns with the design intent and resolves complex technical/design issues.

You will work closely with our team of architects and designers to create cohesive and rational design solutions that meet project briefs and are technically, legally, and financially sound.

  • Develop and implement design strategies that enhance client satisfaction and achieve business objectives
  • Lead and participate in project meetings and presentations to ensure seamless communication with clients and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide design support for project completion and execution
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to inform design decisions and ensure compliance with local and national regulations

Key Responsibilities Include:

Design and Development

  • Conceptualize, develop, and refine architectural designs to meet project requirements
  • Prepare and present design proposals to clients and stakeholders

Project Management

  • Coordinate and manage multiple aspects of project delivery, including documentation, consulting, and client liaison
  • Ensure timely and within-budget delivery of projects while maintaining exceptional quality standards

Team Leadership and Collaboration

  • Lead and mentor junior designers to foster their growth and development
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive business outcomes and achieve company goals

Requirements:

Education and Qualifications

  • Professional degree in Architecture or related field
  • Registration with Australian Architects Registration Board (AARB)
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in Australia

Skills and Competencies

  • Proven expertise in Revit and other industry-standard software
  • Strong project management and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
