A strategic actuary plays a pivotal role in delivering high-impact solutions to complex business challenges. This opportunity is ideal for results-driven professionals with expertise in analytics, consulting or a similar field.
About the RoleAs a senior actuarial analyst/actuary in our team, you will contribute significantly to pricing strategy development, performance evaluation and forecasting. You will collaborate closely with operations, finance, and leadership to optimise portfolio returns and identify untapped opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop advanced pricing frameworks and prepare strategic papers.
- Design and implement data-driven forecasting models to assess performance.
- Conduct thorough analysis of portfolio performance to recommend strategic improvements.
- Collaborate with operational teams to design and monitor treatment strategies.
- Drive continuous innovation through analytical projects.
- 5+ years' commercial experience in analytics, consulting, or a related field.
- Strong technical skills in SAS, SQL, Python, R and advanced modelling techniques.
- Exceptional statistical knowledge and Excel skills for performance assessment.
- Degree-qualified in a quantitative discipline (Actuarial Studies, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Quantitative Finance).
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
