Lead Interior Designer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Lead Interior Designer to drive the expansion of our Melbourne office into the hotel and hospitality sector. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for establishing client networks, leading a team of designers, and mentoring the next generation of interior architects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders within the target sectors.
  • Lead a team of interior designers in multiple locations, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Mentor and empower junior designers, helping them to develop their skills and advance in their careers.
  • Contribute to conceptual design, working closely with the creative team to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Oversee project pipelines, financials, and deliverables, ensuring that all projects meet the required standards and are delivered on time and on budget.
Requirements
  • Tertiary education in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 15 years' professional experience, preferably within the desired sectors of hospitality, residential, and/or hotel.
  • Proven ability to take projects from pitch to handover, demonstrating exceptional design skills and attention to detail.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and a willingness to take on new challenges.
  • A keen eye for design and a passion for delivering high-quality results.
