Job Description:

As a Senior Workplace Design Director, you will lead the strategic planning and design direction of commercial fit-out projects across Australia. This role is ideal for a design professional who combines strategic thinking with practical knowledge of the D&C project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead strategic planning for workplace design projects including space analysis, headcount forecasting, and user profiling.
  • Foster collaboration between project managers, designers, and construction professionals to ensure seamless integration from concept to completion.
  • Conduct site assessments and space audits to inform planning decisions and test-fit layouts.
  • Develop workplace briefs, zoning strategies, and space programs to guide design direction.
  • Translate strategic insights into functional design concepts in collaboration with the interior design team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

A tertiary qualification in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is required. A minimum of 8 years' experience in commercial interior design and workplace strategy within the Australian market is also essential.
