Job Overview

The role of Client Support Specialist is a key position within our organization, responsible for providing administrative support to our team. This includes rostering and managing daily variations.

To excel in this role, you will need effective communication skills, enabling you to interact with office staff, participants, and after-hours managers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing rosters for support workers and participants, ensuring timely updates and documentation
  • Utilizing rostering software (easyemployer) to produce rosters aligned with service delivery procedures
  • Maintaining accurate records and performing other duties as assigned

Required Attributes and Skills

This role demands a high level of interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills, as well as emotional intelligence and resilience to meet the needs of the disability sector.

Essential attributes and skills required include:

  • Proven experience in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Organizational ability to manage busy day-to-day administrative activities
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

- A Certificate III in Business Administration or an associated education

- Proficiency in general office equipment and experience in an office environment, with exposure to reception and administration duties

- Rostering experience within a team environment

Relevant Legislative Requirements

The Client Support Specialist must understand and adhere to relevant legislative requirements, including National Disability Standards, Work Health and Safety Act 2012 (SA), and Equal Opportunity Principles and Practices.
