Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement innovative business strategies to expand health services, referral networks, and funding sources.
  • Analyze market trends to guide service innovation, growth, and revenue diversification.
  • Oversee integrated marketing campaigns for Macquarie University Health and Clinics.
  • Maintain and enhance the Macquarie University Health brand, ensuring alignment with the University's master brand.
  • Lead digital platforms, social media, and website content development.
  • Foster strong relationships with clinicians, referrers, stakeholders, and community partners.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of business development and marketing professionals.

You are a seasoned leader who excels at building partnerships, developing brands, and delivering measurable business outcomes. With extensive experience in business development and/or marketing in the healthcare sector, you bring:

  • A proven success in driving growth strategies and brand transformation.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • The ability to think strategically, make data-driven decisions, and balance competing priorities.
  • An established network of clinicians, referrers, vendors, and partners within the healthcare sector.
  • A collaborative leadership style with a commitment to patient-centred care.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing, business, administration, or health management (or equivalent experience).
