Senior Personal Tax Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Handling a diverse range of compliance matters, including tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts and estates.
  • Preparing Capital Gains Tax returns, Inheritance Tax accounts and Trust Registration filing requirements.
  • Managing HM Revenue & Customs enquiries and assisting with tax advisory projects.
  • Providing exceptional service to clients, including reviewing Self Assessment tax returns completed by others and supporting junior team members.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years recent practice experience within a personal tax role or mixed role with significant personal tax element.
  • ATT qualification (or above) or willingness to study towards further qualifications.
  • Excellent ICT literacy with working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and accounting/tax software packages.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to facilitate effective client contact.
  • A detail-oriented approach and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
