The role of Strategic Business Partner is a senior leadership position that requires developing and executing functional people strategies in commercial businesses across Australia and New Zealand. This position is accountable for championing and executing the overall people strategy, ensuring alignment with commercial strategy and enterprise-wide priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Business Partnership
- Collaborate closely with the HR Director and CoE Leads to integrate functional commercial strategy with enterprise-wide people priorities, providing input and business context into strategic HR initiatives.
- Develop and deliver the functional people stream/plan, ensuring effective implementation and execution.
- Proactively partner with functional leadership teams to identify organizational, talent, culture, or engagement opportunities, driving business growth and improvement.
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop sound, business-oriented solutions to address organizational issues.
- Lead the development and execution of organizational design needs and related change management support.
- Talent Management
- Partner with Talent COE to build a strong talent pipeline for the function, ensuring a robust succession plan.
- Collaborate on employer brand initiatives to deliver a warm external pipeline for critical roles, enhancing the organization's reputation.
- Facilitate the planning and lead the execution of global Talent Management processes, including Annual Performance Review, Talent Review & Succession Planning, Development Planning.
- Support the enablement of talent management-related programs and processes, ensuring seamless integration.
- Learning & Development
- Lead the delivery of learning and development initiatives in coordination with the Campari University team and regional COE, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Design, develop, and facilitate customized training to close capability gaps, ensuring employees possess the necessary skills to excel.
- Ensure a robust curriculum is in place to equip people managers to respond to employee relations issues and drive strong performance.
- Work with external partners to negotiate the delivery of learning and/or development programs that meet key organizational needs.
- Collaborate with employees and managers to develop individualized development plans, promoting career growth.
- Reward
- In partnership with the HRD and Reward COE, support the evolution and day-to-day management of position and compensation structures, ensuring fairness and equity.
- Prepare new hire/promotion offers consistent with internal guidelines, fairly valuing incoming talent considerations.
- Lead workforce planning process in partnership with Finance, ensuring effective resource allocation.
- Employee Engagement & Communication
- Lead the analysis and action planning of Camparista engagement Survey results in partnership with leadership teams.
- Plan and execute Camparista engagement initiatives to support the vision of creating exceptional employee experiences.
- General HR Operations
- Support the compliance of internal HRIS data and ensure data integrity, maintaining accurate records.
- Contribute to the development of process improvement initiatives within HR, driving efficiencies and quality of services.
- Provide support for escalated ER Cases, requiring higher levels of HR expertise.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and execution of core programs to drive an exceptional experience for employees.
