About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Dementia Care Expert to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents and supporting their caregivers.

Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to lead clinical practice and consultancy with a focus on dementia care. You will be responsible for developing and implementing educational programs and resources to enhance dementia care, guiding and mentoring staff, and collaborating with external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert clinical leadership and consultancy with a focus on dementia care.
  • Develop and implement educational programs and resources to enhance dementia care.
  • Guide and mentor staff to effectively manage behaviors, fostering a culture of continuous review and improvement.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders to create and implement effective programs, and engage with industry professionals to remain informed about the latest advancements.

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing, preferably a Master's.
  • Extensive experience in dementia care and behaviour management within aged care settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this role is $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
