Maintenance Leadership Opportunity

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead our team of trades staff at a shipyard. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring maintenance schedules are executed as planned, identifying opportunities to improve vessel availability and reliability, and effectively managing costs for every project.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience leading or supervising trade teams, a trade qualification or engineering background, and demonstrated experience in industrial/commercial asset management/maintenance or shipyard environment equivalent. They will also have experience in vessel operation, maintenance, and repairs, as well as quality management in a best practice environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of trades staff
  • Ensure maintenance schedules are executed as planned
  • Identify opportunities to improve vessel availability and reliability
  • Effectively manage costs for every project

Requirements:

  • Prior experience leading or supervising trade teams
  • Trade qualification or engineering background
  • Demonstrated experience in industrial/commercial asset management/maintenance or shipyard environment equivalent
  • Experience in vessel operation, maintenance, and repairs
  • Experience in quality management in a best practice environment
