Industrial Maintenance Leader

Drive maintenance excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Spearhead proactive and reactive strategies to ensure optimal equipment uptime, compliance with safety standards, and cost efficiency.

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including scheduled maintenance, equipment inspections, and commissioning support.
  • Manage spare parts, maintenance inventory, contractors, and related budgets effectively.
  • Ensure strict compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) and environmental regulations, as well as internal maintenance standards.
  • Lead, train, mentor, and evaluate a team of skilled technicians.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, procurement, and logistics teams to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption to production.

Key qualifications include:

  • Tertiary qualification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering/technology.
  • Minimum 5 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience managing direct reports, budgets, contractors, and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Strong diagnostic skills across mechanical, electrical, PLC, hydraulic systems.
  • Competent in interpreting technical drawings, OHS regulations, and equipment manuals.
  • Experience with CMMS (e.g., SAP).
