Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned IT contract professional to lead and innovate within our organization's IT function.

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in establishing and strengthening vendor relationships, ensuring compliance, and contributing to the overall success of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage our organization's IT vendor portfolio to drive value for money through performance management
  • Develop and maintain proactive vendor relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors
  • Contribute to the broader leadership team, sharing accountability with other leaders for overall performance of deliverables and outcomes

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of IT vendor management practices
  • Extensive knowledge of Information Technology supplier market
  • Demonstrated contract management skills, including facilitation of performance management reporting, contract governance and relationship management
  • Knowledge of state and/or federal government procurement rules, procurement process, tender preparation and evaluation
  • Familiarity with leveraging panel arrangements, including supporting negotiation of contract terms within the constraints of panels
  • Experience in managing IT vendors at strategic and transactional levels
  • Knowledge of contract management with the demonstrated ability to establish and improve governance of technology contracts
  • Excellent relationship-building skills to collaborate across departments and peer organizations
  • Qualification in Procurement or Contract Management (eg Cert IV, Diploma, CIPS, Adv Diploma)
