About the Role:


The Project Manager plays a lead role within the School of the Arts & Media in the planning, development and implementation of projects, led by the Research Leads of Australian Creative Histories & Futures.


As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the delivery of the ACHF project and initiatives to achieve operational and strategic goals.


You will undertake day-to-day project management, including the development, delivery and evaluation of project milestones and research outputs.


The role entails developing project planning documentation, identifying and building appropriate project teams and initiating and overseeing the project, including managing all stakeholder engagement and quality assurance.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Oversee and manage the delivery of the ACHF project and initiatives as guided by the Research Leads to achieve operational and strategic goals.
  • Undertake day-to-day project management, including the development, the delivery and the evaluation including input into project planning and documentation.
  • Manage the Australian Creative Histories & Futures website to ensure an up to date and front-facing presence which accurately reflects the progress of the project and different milestones.
  • Manage project dependencies, risks, issues, change requests and financials and work with the project team to ensure appropriate arrangements are in place.

Requirements:



  • Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience.
  • Proven project management experience, with an in-depth understanding of the project life cycle and strategic development of project plans, objectives and documentation.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail for deliverables produced.
