We are seeking a caring and Italian-speaking individual to visit an elderly client in the local community.
The client enjoys watching TV, taking care of his garden, and would like to meet someone to visit him at home for a cuppa and a chat.
This rewarding volunteer experience can bring great joy to both the person you visit and yourself.
Our volunteer visits can help improve the quality of life and reduce feelings of isolation among older people.
- Your regular visits will make a significant difference to the client's life.
Hammock Care is passionate about supporting people to live independently and maintain their dignity.
We partner with a wonderful group of volunteers who share our passion for enhancing the lives of clients living at home.
Requirements
- 18 years or older
- National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by Hammock Care
We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one-hour visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday. Visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
