Student Wellbeing Team Member

The primary objective of this role is to contribute towards enhancing the overall wellbeing of students and the broader school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support student attendance, engagement, and mental health through proactive measures
  • Provide pastoral care and guidance to students in a manner that fosters trust and understanding
  • Collaborate with schools and teachers to identify and develop educational programs that promote social, emotional, and intellectual development among students
  • Operate effectively within the school community as well as with external service providers

Essential Requirements:

  • A Certificate IV equivalent or higher qualification that includes competencies in mental health support, referrals, and pastoral care
  • Valid employee working with children clearance
  • Ability to establish and maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Desirable Selection Criteria:

  • Proven experience in supporting student wellbeing and community engagement
  • Capacity to operate efficiently within the school community and collaborate with external partners
  • Ability to foster partnerships between schools and external agencies to develop and implement supportive programs
