Tree Maintenance Specialist Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our Tree Crew in delivering proactive and reactive tree maintenance across streetscapes and parks.

This hands-on role is essential in enhancing the health, safety, and amenity value of our urban forest while engaging positively with our community.

The successful applicant will work at the Operations Centre on a full-time basis, operating various plant equipment such as Chipper, Truck, Chainsaws, Polesaws, Blower and Winch, and be responsible for maintaining them regularly.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Bending, twisting and lifting up to 15kg repetitively in all weather conditions
  • Proficiency in maintenance of required plant
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude
  • A high commitment to customer service
  • Delivery of all set works within required timeframes and the completion of detailed and accurate documentation
  • Ability to implement traffic management plans and undertake traffic control

The ideal candidate will have passion for working outdoors in all weather conditions, ability to follow direction in an adaptable and physically demanding environment, proficiency in the operation of required plant, and good communication skills and a positive attitude.
