
Trade and Wholesale Business Development Specialist

You will have the opportunity to lead the growth of a B2B business, focusing on the Trade and Commercial sector. This role involves expanding the customer base and increasing revenue through existing customers, developing a network of contacts to attract new clients, researching new market opportunities, and leveraging relationships to bring incremental sales into the business.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven individual to take ownership of the end-to-end sales cycle, aligning strategy with the COO, then owning prospecting through to close. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients, new partnerships, or new products and services, as well as researching, targeting, and outreach to potential customers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a network of contacts to attract new clients and research new market opportunities
- Leverage relationships to bring incremental sales into the business
- Expand our customer base and grow revenue with existing customers
- Drive the end-to-end sales cycle, from alignment of strategy with the COO to closing deals
We are seeking a candidate with experience in wholesale business development, particularly in the interiors, homewares, lifestyle products, or similar markets. A history of proactive new business generation, some exposure to online channels, and a patient and persistent approach in sales are essential. Additionally, you should have a demonstrated commitment in previous roles and a genuine passion for the interiors space.
