Risk Manager for Financial Institutions

About the Role

This senior risk management position involves overseeing audits, identifying areas of improvement, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations within the financial services sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing risk across various sectors, including insurance, superannuation, and banking.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on audit projects to ensure they meet agreed standards and timelines.
  • Develop solutions that address client challenges and support their transformation journeys.
  • Analyze clients' needs to identify potential issues within regulatory frameworks.
  • Work with large datasets to uncover insights, leveraging experience in risk analytics and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the wider team on business development initiatives aimed at enhancing risk functions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in risk assessment framework, preferably within Financial Services, FinTech, or Consulting.
  • Proven track record of maintaining long-term client relationships and networks, as well as identifying business development opportunities.
  • Experience with Australian and/or international prudential supervision, regulatory reporting, RegTech, capital management, enterprise risk, and risk data management is essential.
