About this role:

We are seeking a Retail Sales Assistant to join our team in Penrith. This is a Full-Time, Permanent position.

  • You will have any experience in Batteries, Solar or Auto-Electrical as an advantage, and an interest in cars, camping or solar would also help. Full training will be provided for any candidates with a positive attitude.
  • You need to be genuinely interested in people and providing expert advice and guidance.
  • This can be a hands-on technical role with lots to learn, so you must have the ability to stick with a task through to completion.
  • You require excellent customer service skills and the ability to lift batteries including car and caravan batteries.
Key Responsibilities
  • You will provide expert advice and guidance to customers on batteries, solar, and power accessories.
  • You will assist customers with product selection and troubleshooting where needed.
  • You will engage with customers to understand needs and deliver a positive shopping experience.
  • You will handle physical stock tasks as required and maintain store presentation.
Requirements
  • You must be physically fit and able to lift 20kg.
  • You need a Current Driving Licence.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
