Supply Chain Manager - Fresh Produce

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead our fresh produce supply chain team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to optimize our supply chain operations, ensuring seamless execution of our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with our business objectives, focusing on quality, cost, and service excellence.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient procurement, logistics, and distribution processes.
  3. Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decisions.
  4. Manage relationships with key suppliers, growers, and stakeholders to secure the best possible terms and outcomes.
  5. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  6. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior supply chain role, preferably in the fresh produce industry.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and drive informed decision-making.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as supply chain management, logistics, or agriculture.
