Human Resources Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to join our team as an HR Advisor. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-level human resource services related to employee relations, workplace policies and practices, performance management, discipline and termination, employment law, employment contracts, succession, workforce planning, and salary and compensation.
This position involves working closely with Senior Management, Branch Managers Supervisors, and other staff to provide fundamental human resource services. You will be responsible for providing professional advice to Managers and Supervisors on individual departmental responsibilities, supporting end-to-end recruitment processes, and providing counselling to staff on human resources-related issues.
As a key member of our HR Team, you will be expected to interpret and apply employment-related legislation, such as awards and acts. You will also be responsible for ongoing management development and education in utilising Brandt's human resources policies and procedures.
About the JobThis is a full-time opportunity that offers a competitive remuneration package, including a salary range of AU$80,000 - AU$110,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer ongoing training and development opportunities, allowing you to grow your skills and expertise within the company.

Key Responsibilities- Provide high-level human resource services related to employee relations, workplace policies and practices, performance management, discipline and termination, employment law, employment contracts, succession, workforce planning, and salary and compensation.
- Work closely with Senior Management, Branch Managers Supervisors, and other staff to provide fundamental human resource services.
- Provide professional advice to Managers and Supervisors on individual departmental responsibilities.

- Provide counselling to staff on human resources-related issues.
- Interpret and apply employment-related legislation, such as awards and acts.
- Ongoing management development and education in utilising Brandt's human resources policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated experience in providing high-level Human Resource advice across all levels of a multi-disciplinary organisation.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate and consult across all levels.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal customers.
- Strong customer service focus and commitment to quality customer service outcomes.
- Knowledge of and ability to interpret relevant Human Resources Legislation, Awards, Policies and Procedures.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
