About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Advisor to provide high-level human resource services to support our Australian Branches.

As an HR Advisor, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on employee relations, workplace policies, performance management, and employment law. You will work closely with Senior Management, Branch Managers, Supervisors, and other staff to provide fundamental human resource services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional advice to Managers and Supervisors on human resource-related issues.
  • Support the end-to-end recruitment process.
  • Provide counselling to staff on human resources-related issues.
  • Interpret and apply employment-related legislation, such as awards and acts.
  • Manage development and education in utilising Brandt's human resources policies and procedures.
  • Provide advice, assistance, and direction to internal clients on various human resources issues.
  • Work with the Training and Safety Advisors to coordinate the onboarding and induction program.
  • Participate in policy review and development.
  • Assist in the preparation of relevant human resources reports for management.
About You
  • You will be a great communicator with high analytical skills and the ability to build relationships.
  • You will have experience in providing high-level Human Resource advice across all levels of a multi-disciplinary organisation.
  • You will have highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate and consult across all levels.
  • You will have a strong customer service focus and commitment to quality customer service outcomes.
  • You will have knowledge of and ability to interpret relevant Human Resources Legislation, Awards, Policies and Procedures.
