
Principal Water Resources Specialist

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for water resources engineering? Do you have excellent communication and analytical skills?
This role involves working as part of a dynamic team to design and develop computations for storm drains, erosion and sediment control, and traditional and innovative green stormwater management infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop computations for storm drains, erosion and sediment control, and traditional and innovative green stormwater management infrastructure
2. Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, aerial photography and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects
3. Design projects in accordance with client specifications and guidelines, using design software and drawing tools.
4. Perform engineering computations related to site hydrology and hydraulics, earthwork, stormwater BMPs, and natural channel design structural components.
5. Assist with the preparation of design engineering plans and specifications for approval by municipalities and regulatory agencies.
Requirements:
- 0-1 year of experience in an engineering/environmental consulting environment
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree within civil engineering and/or environmental engineering or a closely related field
